HISTORIA DE LA BANDA
Hocico es una banda mexicana de Electro Dark.Hocico surgió oficialmente en 1993 después de que sus integrantes, Erk Aicrag (Erik Garcia) (letra) y Racso Agroyam (Oscar Mayorga) (sintetizador), cambiaran de nombre a sus dos proyectos previos Niñera Degenerada y Hocico de perro para reducirlo únicamente a Hocico. El sonido de esta banda resulta de la experimentación y mezcla de sonidos industriales con EBM, creando así atmósferas sonoras agresivas, melancólicas y bailables. Actualmente Hocico es uno de los exponentes del Electro y EBM a nivel mundial y una de las agrupaciones que más han influenciado a otros músicos del mismo género.
Racso Agroyam, por su parte, mantiene un proyecto alterno a Hocico llamado Dulce Líquido, el cual se orienta más hacia el Noise. Erk Aicrag, por otro lado, también mantiene otro proyecto en paralelo llamado Rabia Sorda.
Aunque no son tan populares en su tierra natal, son altamente reconocidos en la unión europea, en especial Alemania. También se les recuerda por servir como teloneros a Rammstein en su visita a México en 2001.
